Setsuna is never given a love interest in either the BSSM manga or TV series. It's time she got one.

Setsuna is gorgeous, smart, sexy, and powerful. Men should flock to her! She doesn't really need one, independent woman that she is, but it's nice to have a lap dog around once in awhile! ~_^ She sent me here to review the possibilities, rating them on a scale of 1 to 10.

First Pick:

Name: Fox Mulder
Show: The X-Files
Actor: David Duchovny
Reason for Pick: Mulder is tall, dark, and handsome. He believes in the unbelievable (a plus for dating a senshi!), and though he can be somewhat self-absorbed, his heart is in the right place. He is a loner, and extremely intelligent, qualities he and Setsuna share. He is unrelenting in his quest to prove the existence of extra-terrestrials, much like Setsuna is unwavering in her destiny of guarding the Gates forever.

Name: Narcasse (Narsus in English dub)
Show: Arslan Senki (Heroic Legend of Arislan)
Actor: N/A
Reason for Pick: Narcasse is a brilliant man. He is a stragetist for Prince Arslan in a war for the throne of Pals. He is very artsy, and for a long time did nothing but paint and drink wine. Narcasse does not believe war is the best path and that they never last forever. He has a sort-of love interest. He and Setsuna share several of the same qualities as Setsuna and Mulder.

Name: Ogre Slayer (He doesn't have a human name, and uses the name of his sword)
Show: Ogre Slayer
Actor: N/A
Reason for Pick: The Ogre Slayer holds no real name, and is known only by the name of his sword, oni kiri maru, Ogre Slayer. He was born from an ogre, but in human form. His horn is his sword. He believes he can become human when he kills every ogre, and is destined to travel the world for eternity eradicating them. Ogre Slayer is a loner, like Setsuna, because of his purpose in life. He rarely interacts with humans, and is very blunt when he does. The two would have much in common, but may clash over style. She is refined, and he is somewhat rash in his actions.

Name: Qui-gon Jinn
Show: Star Wars Episode 1 The Phantom Menace
Actor: Liam Neeson
Reason for Pick: Qui-gon is very in tune to the living Force. He is a rogue Jedi, following his own code of honor, much to the chagrin of his apprentice, Obi-wan Kenobi. Qui-gon is forever picking up "strays" as Obi-wan calls them, creatures and species without homes. He takes them in and cares for them. He, too, sticks to himself though he is more amiable with people than either Mulder or the Ogre Slayer. His relationship to his apprentice and Anakin is much like that of Setsuna's to Chibi-usa, friend and mentor.

Reason for Pick: I think Trista and Folken would make a striking couple. Both are very mysterious, intriguing and private people. They almost share a common bond: a lonely and tragic life. (Folken's metallic left arm and Trista's duty as a time guardian). Beneath Folken's cold exterior, he is rather a caring person and willing to sacrifice those he cared about even to the death. This is the same qualities that Trista has. If Folken is given a chance to love again, Trista would be ideal his mate. Only love can set them both free...
